"He knew: Bliss is Brahman. From bliss alone these beings are born. By bliss, once born, they live. Into bliss they go and merge upon departing."

What This Means:

Brahman is ananda (bliss). All beings emerge from bliss, are sustained by bliss, and return to bliss. Bliss is the ground of existence.

Going Deeper:

This is one of the most important declarations: Anando Brahma - Brahman IS bliss. Not that Brahman HAS bliss, but IS bliss itself.

How To Apply This:

You come from bliss, live by bliss, and return to bliss. Joy is not something to find - it is your source and destination.
