"The Eternal among eternals, the Conscious among conscious beings, the One who fulfills the desires of many - knowing that God, the cause, attainable through Sankhya and Yoga, one is freed from all bonds."
What This Means:
He is the supreme Eternal among all eternal souls, the supreme Consciousness. He fulfills all desires. Knowing Him through Sankhya and Yoga, one is freed.
Going Deeper:
This famous Katha/Shvetashvatara verse (repeated) unites Sankhya discrimination with Yoga practice as paths to liberation.
How To Apply This:
Combine philosophical understanding (Sankhya) with practice (Yoga) to know the Supreme and gain freedom.
