"The Eternal among eternals, the Conscious among conscious beings, the One who fulfills the desires of many - knowing that God, the cause, accessible through Sankhya and Yoga, one is freed from all bonds."
What This Means:
God is the supreme Eternal among all eternal souls, the supreme Consciousness among all conscious beings. He fulfills everyone's desires. Knowledge through Sankhya (discrimination) and Yoga liberates.
Going Deeper:
This famous verse integrates Sankhya philosophy (analysis/discrimination) with Yoga (union). Both paths lead to the same liberating knowledge.
How To Apply This:
Use both discrimination (Sankhya) and union (Yoga) to know God. Analysis and practice together lead to liberation.
