"The One who, wielding the net of maya, rules by His powers - who rules all worlds by His powers, who alone exists at creation and dissolution - those who know this become immortal."

What This Means:

There is one Lord who holds the net of illusion (maya) and rules all worlds. He exists before creation and after dissolution. Knowing Him grants immortality.

Going Deeper:

The "net of maya" (jala) symbolizes the web of appearances that entangles beings. The Lord is both the weaver and transcender of this web.

How To Apply This:

Recognize that one Power behind all appearances. Knowing this Power directly is the key to freedom.
