वेदाहमेतमजरं पुराणं सर्वात्मानं सर्वगतं विभुत्वात्। जन्मनिरोधं प्रवदन्ति यस्य ब्रह्मवादिनो हि प्रवदन्ति नित्यम्॥

vedāhametamajaraṃ purāṇaṃ sarvātmānaṃ sarvagataṃ vibhutvāt | janmanirodhaṃ pravadanti yasya brahmavādino hi pravadanti nityam ||

"I know this ageless, ancient one, the Self of all, all-pervading because of His vastness. The expounders of Brahman speak of His cessation of birth. The expounders of Brahman speak of Him as eternal."

What This Means:

I know this ageless, ancient Being - the Self of all, all-pervading due to His vastness. The wise say there is no birth for Him. They speak of Him as eternal.

Going Deeper:

The realization is declared: the ageless, ancient Atman is everywhere. Brahman is beyond birth (janma-nirodha) and is eternal (nitya).

How To Apply This:

Know the ageless, birthless, eternal Self of all. This is the realization that the wise proclaim.
