वेदाहमेतं पुरुषं महान्तमादित्यवर्णं तमसः परस्तात्। तमेव विदित्वाऽतिमृत्युमेति नान्यः पन्था विद्यतेऽयनाय॥

vedāhametaṃ puruṣaṃ mahāntamādityavarṇaṃ tamasaḥ parastāt | tameva viditvā'timṛtyumeti nānyaḥ panthā vidyate'yanāya ||

"I know this great Person (Purusha), sun-colored, beyond darkness. Only by knowing Him does one go beyond death. There is no other path for reaching (liberation)."

What This Means:

I know this great Being - radiant like the sun, beyond all darkness. Only by knowing Him does one transcend death. There is no other way.

Going Deeper:

This famous verse declares: liberation comes only through knowledge of this supreme Purusha. "Nanyah pantha" - there is no other path.

How To Apply This:

Know the radiant Purusha beyond darkness. This is the only way to transcend death. There is no other path.
