Shvetashvatara Upanishad 3.15

पुरुष एवेदं सर्वं यद्भूतं यच्च भव्यम्। उतामृतत्वस्येशानो यदन्नेनातिरोहति॥
puruṣa evedaṃ sarvaṃ yadbhūtaṃ yacca bhavyam | utāmṛtatvasyeśāno yadannenātirohati ||
"The Person is all this - what was and what will be. He is also the Lord of immortality, which He surpasses through food."
What This Means:
The Person is all that was and all that will be. He is lord of immortality and transcends all material sustenance.
Going Deeper:
Purusha is the totality of time - past and future. Even immortality is under His rule. Through anna (food = creation) He grows beyond limits.
How To Apply This:
All time - past and future - is the Purusha. Even immortality is His domain. Rest in this timeless reality.
