"We understand Him as a wheel with one felly, three tires, sixteen ends, fifty spokes, twenty counter-spokes, six sets of eight, one rope of many forms, three paths, and delusion arising from two causes."
What This Means:
The universe is described as a complex wheel (samsara) with multiple parts: elements, faculties, paths, etc. Behind this complex mechanism is one Lord.
Going Deeper:
This cryptic symbolism encodes Sankhya categories: three gunas, sixteen modifications, fifty types of creation, etc. The wheel of existence turns, driven by one power.
How To Apply This:
See the world as a complex mechanism. Behind its intricate workings, seek the one Mover.
