"Those who followed meditation and yoga saw the self-power of God hidden in His own qualities. He alone presides over all causes - from time to the individual self."
What This Means:
Through meditation and yoga, the sages discovered that one God, through His power, is hidden in all things. He rules over all the supposed causes - time, nature, everything.
Going Deeper:
This verse introduces the central teaching: behind all apparent causes is one Supreme Being whose power (shakti) manifests as the diverse universe.
How To Apply This:
Practice meditation to discover the one Power behind all apparent causes. This is the goal of yoga.
