स ईक्षांचक्रे कस्मिन्नहमुत्क्रान्त उत्क्रान्तो भविष्यामि कस्मिन्वा प्रतिष्ठिते प्रतिष्ठास्यामीति॥
sa īkṣāṃcakre kasminnnahamutkrānta utkrānto bhaviṣyāmi kasminvā pratiṣṭhite pratiṣṭhāsyāmīti ||
""He (the Person) thought: In whose departure will I depart? In whose staying will I stay?""
What This Means:
The Person contemplated: When what leaves, will I leave? When what stays, will I stay? This reveals the relationship between Self and parts.
Going Deeper:
The Self wonders about its relationship to its projections. If the parts leave, does the whole leave? This is the inquiry into manifestation.
How To Apply This:
Consider: What is your relationship to your body, mind, and senses? When they change, what changes?
