tisro mātrā mṛtyumatyaḥ prayuktā anyonyasaktāḥ anaviprayuktāḥ | kriyāsu bāhyābhyantaramadhyamāsu samyakprayuktāsu na kampate jñaḥ ||
""The three matras, when used subject to death, are connected to each other and not separated. In external, internal, and middle actions, when properly used, the knower does not tremble.""
What This Means:
When the three parts of OM (A-U-M) are practiced properly in all activities - outer, inner, and middle - the wise person becomes unshakeable.
Going Deeper:
The three matras correspond to waking (external), dreaming (internal), and deep sleep (middle). Mastery of all three brings stability.
How To Apply This:
Practice OM in all states and activities. This brings unshakeable inner peace.
