""If one meditates with two syllables (matras), one attains the mind (mental realm). One is led by the Yajur Veda to the lunar world. Having experienced glory in the lunar world, one returns again.""

What This Means:

Two-matra meditation leads to the intermediate realm (the moon/mental world). After enjoying its glories, one returns to earth.

Going Deeper:

The lunar world represents the realm of mind and subtle experience. Enjoyment there is temporary; return is inevitable.

How To Apply This:

Intermediate practice brings intermediate results - heavenly experience, but still within the cycle.
