""Just as an emperor appoints officers, saying 'Govern these villages, govern those villages,' so does Prana station the other pranas, each in its separate place.""

What This Means:

Like a king assigning governors to different regions, the main Prana assigns different functions to the five pranas in different body parts.

Going Deeper:

The metaphor of governance illustrates the hierarchical organization of vital functions. Prana is the sovereign; the sub-pranas are ministers.

How To Apply This:

Your body has an intelligent organization. Each function has its place. Honor this inner governance.
