Prashna Upanishad 2.12
beginner
या ते तनूर्वाचि प्रतिष्ठिता या श्रोत्रे या च चक्षुषि। या च मनसि सन्तता शिवां तां कुरु मोत्क्रमीः॥
yā te tanūrvāci pratiṣṭhitā yā śrotre yā ca cakṣuṣi | yā ca manasi santatā śivāṃ tāṃ kuru motkramīḥ ||
""That form of yours which is established in speech, in hearing, in seeing, and which pervades the mind - make it auspicious. Do not depart!""
What This Means:
The hymn pleads: Prana, you who dwell in my speech, hearing, seeing, and mind - be gracious and do not leave me!
Going Deeper:
This is a prayer for life. Prana pervading all faculties is asked to remain auspicious and not withdraw (which would mean death).
How To Apply This:
Honor your senses and mind as homes of Prana. Keep them pure so Prana remains auspicious.
