satyena labhyastapasā hyeṣa ātmā samyagjñānena brahmacaryeṇa nityam | antaḥśarīre jyotirmayo hi śubhro yaṃ paśyanti yatayaḥ kṣīṇadoṣāḥ ||
"This Self is attained by truth, by tapas, by right knowledge, and by constant brahmacharya. Within the body, it is made of light, pure - which the ascetics whose faults have been destroyed see."
What This Means:
The Self is gained through truth, austerity, correct understanding, and continuous self-discipline. It shines as light in the body - seen by purified seekers.
Going Deeper:
Four requirements: satya (truth), tapas (discipline), samyag-jnana (right knowledge), brahmacharya (continence). The result: seeing inner light.
How To Apply This:
Truth, discipline, right knowledge, self-control - these reveal the inner light.
