"That which is radiant, subtler than the subtle, in which the worlds and their inhabitants are fixed - that is the imperishable Brahman. It is life, speech, and mind. It is truth, it is immortal. Know it as the target to be pierced, O gentle one!"

What This Means:

Brahman is radiant, subtler than subtle, containing all worlds. It is your life, speech, mind. It is truth and immortality. This is your target!

Going Deeper:

"Veddhavya" (to be pierced) introduces the bow-and-arrow metaphor that follows. Brahman is the bullseye.

How To Apply This:

Make Brahman your target. Pierce through to the truth with focused attention.
