पुरुष एवेदं विश्वं कर्म तपो ब्रह्म परामृतम्। एतद्यो वेद निहितं गुहायां सोऽविद्याग्रन्थिं विकिरतीह सोम्य॥

puruṣa evedaṃ viśvaṃ karma tapo brahma parāmṛtam | etadyo veda nihitaṃ guhāyāṃ so'vidyāgranthiṃ vikiratīha somya ||

"The Purusha alone is all this - karma, tapas, Brahman, the supreme immortal. One who knows this, hidden in the cave, cuts the knot of ignorance here, O gentle one."

What This Means:

Everything is Purusha - all action, all austerity, Brahman itself, the immortal. Knowing this truth hidden in the heart cuts ignorance's knot.

Going Deeper:

This summarizes the section: all is Purusha. The one who realizes this breaks free from ignorance in this very life.

How To Apply This:

The knot of ignorance can be cut now. Know that all is one Purusha.
