स खल्वयं भूतात्मा भूतैरभिभूयमानो विशति गर्भे।

sa khalvayaṃ bhūtātmā bhūtairabhbhūyamāno viśati garbhe |

Paraphrase of Maitri Upaniṣad 3.2

"This self of the elements, overcome by the elements, enters the womb."

What This Means:

The individual self, overpowered by the material elements, enters a womb to be born again.
