अथ शाकायन्यो भगवान्तमुवाच - उत्तिष्ठ उत्तिष्ठ वरं वृणीष्व।
atha śākāyanyo bhagavāntamuvāca - uttiṣṭha uttiṣṭha varaṃ vṛṇīṣva |
Maitri Upaniṣad 1.2
"Then the blessed Shakayanya said to him: "Rise! Rise! Choose a boon!""
What This Means:
The sage Shakayanya appeared and offered to grant the king any wish.
