""There are a hundred and one arteries of the heart. One of them leads to the crown of the head. Going upward through that, one attains immortality. The others lead to various paths of departure.""
What This Means:
The heart has 101 subtle channels. One leads upward to the crown; departing through it brings immortality. Other channels lead to rebirth.
Going Deeper:
This yogic teaching says the liberated soul exits through the crown (brahmarandhra). The sushumna nadi leads there.
How To Apply This:
At death, direct consciousness upward. In life, practice keeping attention elevated.
