यदा पञ्चावतिष्ठन्ते ज्ञानानि मनसा सह। बुद्धिश्च न विचेष्टते तामाहुः परमां गतिम्॥

""When the five senses together with the mind cease and the intellect does not stir - that, they say, is the supreme state.""

What This Means:

When all five senses stop, the mind quiets, and even the intellect is still - that complete stillness is the highest state.

Going Deeper:

This describes the state of deep meditation or samadhi - complete cessation of mental and sensory activity.

How To Apply This:

Practice stilling the senses, mind, and intellect. In that stillness, the supreme is revealed.
