Katha Upanishad 4.12
intermediate
""The Purusha, of the size of a thumb, dwells in the middle of the self. Lord of past and future, one does not shrink from That. This verily is That.""
What This Means:
The supreme Person dwells in the heart (thumb-sized space). It rules all time - past and future. Knowing this, one fears nothing.
Going Deeper:
The "thumb size" represents the heart center. The infinite appears finite when dwelling in the heart.
How To Apply This:
The infinite Lord dwells in your heart's small space. Focus there.
