Katha Upanishad 2.16

एतद्ध्येवाक्षरं ब्रह्म एतद्ध्येवाक्षरं परम्। एतद्ध्येवाक्षरं ज्ञात्वा यो यदिच्छति तस्य तत्॥
etaddhyevākṣaraṃ brahma etaddhyevākṣaraṃ param | etaddhyevākṣaraṃ jñātvā yo yadicchati tasya tat ||
""This syllable OM is indeed Brahman. This syllable is indeed the supreme. Whoever knows this syllable obtains whatever they desire.""
What This Means:
OM is Brahman itself - the supreme reality. Knowing the true meaning of OM grants all wishes because you become one with the source of all.
Going Deeper:
"Akshara" means both "syllable" and "imperishable." OM is the imperishable Absolute in sound form.
How To Apply This:
Chant OM with understanding, not mechanically. Know it as the Imperishable itself.
