"Narada said: "Sir, I have studied the Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, Atharvaveda as the fourth, history and mythology as the fifth, grammar, mathematics, rituals, prognostication, ethics, logic, theology, knowledge of Brahman, sciences of beings, warfare, astronomy, and snake-charming. This is what I have studied, sir.""

What This Means:

Narada lists all he knows: all four Vedas, histories, sciences, arts - an encyclopedic education. Yet he seeks more.

Going Deeper:

Despite vast learning, Narada is unsatisfied. Book knowledge, however extensive, does not give peace.

How To Apply This:

Even encyclopedic knowledge is not enough. True fulfillment comes from something beyond all learning.
