तं होवाच यं वै सोम्यैतमणिमानं न निभालयस एतस्य वै सोम्यैषोऽणिम्न एवं महान्न्यग्रोधस्तिष्ठति। श्रद्धत्स्व सोम्येति॥

taṃ hovāca yaṃ vai somyaitamaṇimānaṃ na nibhālayase etasya vai somyaiṣo\'ṇimna evaṃ mahānnyagrodhastiṣṭhati | śraddhatva somyeti ||

""That subtle essence which you do not perceive - from that very essence, dear one, this great banyan tree stands. Have faith, dear one!""

What This Means:

You cannot see the essence in the seed, yet from it grows this massive banyan tree. Believe this, says the father.

Going Deeper:

The invisible Self is the source of all visible creation. What you cannot perceive is more fundamental than what you see.
