"There is this verse: "When all the desires that dwell in the heart are released, then the mortal becomes immortal and attains Brahman here.""

What This Means:

When all desires lodged in the heart are released, the mortal becomes immortal and attains Brahman right here, in this life.

Going Deeper:

Liberation is possible here and now (ihaiva). It requires complete release of desire, not physical death.

How To Apply This:

Liberation is available now, when desires are released. You don't need to die - you need to release.
