नु कामयमानः। अथाकामयमानो योऽकामो निष्काम आप्तकाम आत्मकामो न तस्य प्राणा उत्क्रामन्ति। ब्रह्मैव सन्ब्रह्माप्येति॥
nu kāmayamānaḥ | athākāmayamāno yo\'kāmo niṣkāma āptakāma ātmakāmo na tasya prāṇā utkrāmanti | brahmaiva sanbrahmāpyeti ||
"That is for one who desires. But one who is without desire, who is free from desire, whose desire is fulfilled, whose desire is the Self - his vital breaths do not depart. Being Brahman, he goes to Brahman."
What This Means:
For the desireless person - whose desire is fulfilled in the Self - the pranas don't depart. Already being Brahman, he merges into Brahman.
Going Deeper:
The liberated person (atmakama - whose desire is Self) doesn't undergo transmigration. Already Brahman, he realizes Brahman.
How To Apply This:
Become desireless - not by suppression, but by fulfillment in the Self. Then you go nowhere; you ARE Brahman.
