Gita 9.4
मया ततमिदं सर्वं जगदव्यक्तमूर्तिना।
मत्स्थानि सर्वभूतानि न चाहं तेष्ववस्थितः।।
mayā tatam idaṁ sarvaṁ jagad avyakta-mūrtinā mat-sthāni sarva-bhūtāni na cāhaṁ teṣv avasthitaḥ
"By Me, in My unmanifest form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings exist in Me, but I am not contained in them."
What This Means:
Krishna pervades everything in His unmanifest form. Everything exists IN Him—but He's not limited TO them. Like space contains all objects but isn't defined by any object.
Going Deeper:
This is divine immanence AND transcendence simultaneously. Krishna is everywhere (immanent) yet beyond everything (transcendent). He's not absent from anything but not reducible to anything either.
How To Apply This:
The Divine is present right where you are, in everything you see—but it's also beyond what you can see. Seek it in particulars; remember it exceeds all particulars.
