moghāśā mogha-karmāṇo mogha-jñānā vicetasaḥ rākṣasīm āsurīṁ caiva prakṛtiṁ mohinīṁ śritāḥ
"Their hopes are vain, their actions are vain, their knowledge is vain—these bewildered souls take on a deluding, demonic, godless nature."
What This Means:
Those who miss the divine become 'mogha' (vain/futile) in hopes, actions, and knowledge. Their whole life becomes empty because they've missed the center. They fall into demonic (asuri) and deluded (mohini) tendencies.
Going Deeper:
Without recognizing the sacred, everything becomes hollow. Success is empty, knowledge leads nowhere, hope has no foundation. The demonic isn't supernatural evil—it's the natural result of missing the divine.
How To Apply This:
If life feels meaningless, examine whether you've lost connection to the sacred. External achievements can't fill that void. The emptiness itself is a signal pointing toward what's missing.
