Gita 8.20
परस्तस्मात्तु भावोऽन्योऽव्यक्तोऽव्यक्तात्सनातनः।
यः स सर्वेषु भूतेषु नश्यत्सु न विनश्यति।।
paras tasmāt tu bhāvo 'nyo 'vyakto 'vyaktāt sanātanaḥ yaḥ sa sarveṣu bhūteṣu naśyatsu na vinaśyati
"But beyond this unmanifest, there is another unmanifest, eternal existence—which does not perish even when all beings perish."
What This Means:
Beyond the unmanifest that cycles (dissolving and emerging), there's ANOTHER unmanifest—the truly eternal (sanatana) that never perishes, even when everything else does.

There are two 'unmanifests': the cosmic seed from which manifestation emerges and returns, and the transcendent reality beyond even that. The first is still within time; the second is beyond time entirely.
