Gita 7.30
साधिभूताधिदैवं मां साधियज्ञं च ये विदुः। प्रयाणकालेऽपि च मां ते विदुर्युक्तचेतसः।।

sādhibhūtādhidaivaṁ māṁ sādhiyajñaṁ ca ye viduḥ prayāṇa-kāle 'pi ca māṁ te vidur yukta-cetasaḥ

"Those who know Me as governing material existence, the gods, and all sacrifice—they, with minds absorbed in Me, know Me even at the time of death."

What This Means:

Those who understand Krishna as the reality behind the physical world (adhibhuta), the divine realm (adhidaiva), and all sacrifice (adhiyajna) maintain that knowing even at death. Their connection isn't broken by dying.

Going Deeper:

This verse points forward to Chapter 8's topic: what happens at death. The mind's object at death determines the next destination. Those absorbed in Krishna go to Krishna—even the final moment doesn't sever the connection.

How To Apply This:

What occupies your mind most? That's likely what will occupy it at death. Cultivate awareness of the Divine now, so that when the final moment comes, that awareness is natural, not forced.
