Gita 7.25
नाहं प्रकाशः सर्वस्य योगमायासमावृतः। मूढोऽयं नाभिजानाति लोको मामजमव्ययम्।।

nāhaṁ prakāśaḥ sarvasya yoga-māyā-samāvṛtaḥ mūḍho 'yaṁ nābhijānāti loko mām ajam avyayam

"I am not revealed to everyone, being veiled by My divine creative power. This deluded world does not know Me, the unborn and imperishable."

What This Means:

Krishna is hidden by His own yoga-maya (divine creative power). He doesn't reveal Himself to everyone. That's why the world, under delusion, doesn't recognize Him as the eternal, unborn reality.

Going Deeper:

Yoga-maya is not deception but selective revelation. Krishna chooses when and to whom to be known. This makes genuine spiritual recognition a gift, not an achievement—grace, not accomplishment.

How To Apply This:

If you've had glimpses of truth, recognize them as grace, not entitlement. The Divine reveals itself when conditions are right. Your job is to be receptive, not to demand revelation.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Yoga-māyā= Divine creative/concealing powerAja= UnbornPrakāśa= Manifest, revealed
