Gita 7.2
ज्ञानं तेऽहं सविज्ञानमिदं वक्ष्याम्यशेषतः। यज्ज्ञात्वा नेह भूयोऽन्यज्ज्ञातव्यमवशिष्यते।।

jñānaṁ te 'haṁ sa-vijñānam idaṁ vakṣyāmy aśeṣataḥ yaj jñātvā neha bhūyo 'nyaj jñātavyam avaśiṣyate

"I shall teach you this knowledge along with realized wisdom, completely—knowing which, nothing more remains to be known in this world."

What This Means:

Krishna promises both jnana (theoretical knowledge) and vijnana (realized wisdom). After knowing this, nothing else needs to be known. It's the ultimate education—comprehensive and complete.

Going Deeper:

The distinction between jnana and vijnana is crucial. Jnana is 'knowing about'—intellectual understanding. Vijnana is 'knowing directly'—experiential realization. Both together constitute complete knowledge.

How To Apply This:

Don't stop at 'knowing about' truth. Push for direct experience. The difference between knowing a recipe and tasting food is the difference between jnana and vijnana.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Jñāna= Theoretical knowledgeVijñāna= Realized wisdom, direct experienceAśeṣataḥ= Completely, without remainder
