avināśi tu tad viddhi yena sarvam idaṁ tatam vināśam avyayasyāsya na kaścit kartum arhati
"Know that which pervades the entire body to be indestructible. No one can destroy the imperishable soul."
What This Means:
The soul fills your entire body, giving it life and consciousness. This soul cannot be destroyed by anyone or anything. Swords can't cut it, fire can't burn it, water can't wet it. It's beyond all physical harm.

The soul is described as 'tatam' (pervading)—it's not located in one spot like the heart or brain. Consciousness pervades the whole body, which is why you feel sensation everywhere. Yet unlike the body, this pervading presence is 'avyaya' (imperishable) and 'avinashi' (indestructible).
How To Apply This:
When facing fear—whether of death, failure, or loss—remember that your essential self cannot be harmed. Bodies can be hurt, reputations can be damaged, possessions can be lost. But the real you is beyond all destruction. This is the ultimate security.
