Gita 18.75
व्यासप्रसादाच्छ्रुतवानेतद्गुह्यमहं परम्। योगं योगेश्वरात्कृष्णात्साक्षात्कथयतः स्वयम्॥

vyāsa-prasādāc chrutavān etad guhyam ahaṁ param yogaṁ yogeśvarāt kṛṣṇāt sākṣāt kathayataḥ svayam

"By the grace of Vyasa, I have heard this supreme secret yoga directly from Krishna, the Lord of Yoga, speaking it Himself."

What This Means:

Through Vyasa's blessing of divine vision, Sanjaya has directly heard this highest secret yoga from Krishna Himself, the master of all yoga.

Going Deeper:

'Vyasa-prasadat' - by Vyasa's grace (who gave divine sight). 'Guhyam param' - supreme secret. 'Yogam' - the teaching of yoga. 'Yogeshvara' - Lord of Yoga - a title for Krishna. 'Sakshat' - directly. 'Kathayatah svayam' - speaking Himself. Sanjaya confirms he received this directly, not second-hand. The teaching has an unbroken lineage.

How To Apply This:

Authentic spiritual teaching comes through a lineage of grace. Honor the chain of transmission that brings wisdom to you - teachers and texts.
