Gita 18.61
ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशेऽर्जुन तिष्ठति। भ्रामयन्सर्वभूतानि यन्त्रारूढानि मायया॥

īśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛd-deśe 'rjuna tiṣṭhati bhrāmayan sarva-bhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā

"The Lord dwells in the heart of all beings, O Arjuna, causing all beings to revolve by His maya, as if mounted on a machine."

What This Means:

God lives in the heart of every creature. Through His creative power (maya), He causes all beings to move and act, like figures mounted on a machine.

Going Deeper:

'Ishvara hrid-deshe tishthati' - the Lord dwells in the heart-region of all. This immanent presence is the inner controller (antaryamin). 'Bhramayan' - causing to revolve/wander. 'Yantra-arudhani' - mounted on a machine (the body-mind complex). 'Maya' is the divine power creating this cosmic play. All movement ultimately comes from this inner Lord.

How To Apply This:

Recognize the Divine dwelling in every heart - yours and others'. The body is a vehicle; the real driver is within. Seek connection with that inner presence.
