Gita 18.58
मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि। अथ चेत्त्वमहंकारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि॥

mac-cittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi mat-prasādāt tariṣyasi atha cet tvam ahaṁkārān na śroṣyasi vinaṅkṣyasi

"With your mind fixed on Me, you will cross over all difficulties by My grace. But if, because of ego, you do not listen, you will perish."

What This Means:

If you keep your mind on Krishna, by His grace you will overcome all obstacles. But if your ego prevents you from listening, you will be destroyed.

Going Deeper:

'Sarva durgani' - all difficulties, obstacles - will be crossed ('tarishyasi') by divine grace when the mind is fixed on God. The warning follows: 'ahamkarat' - from ego - if you don't listen ('na shroshyasi'), you will perish ('vinankshyasi'). This is direct, personal counsel to Arjuna - and to all of us.

How To Apply This:

Divine connection helps you through all difficulties. But ego that won't listen leads to ruin. Stay humble and receptive to guidance greater than yourself.
