yadā bhūta-pṛthag-bhāvam eka-stham anupaśyati tata eva ca vistāraṁ brahma sampadyate tadā
"When one perceives the diverse existence of beings as rooted in One, and their expansion as from That alone—then one attains Brahman."
What This Means:
When you see that all the different beings are actually rooted in one source, and that their diversity is an expansion from that One—at that moment, you attain Brahman. Unity seen within diversity.
Going Deeper:
'Bhūta-pṛthag-bhāvam'—the diverse existence of beings. 'Eka-stham'—rooted in One. 'Tata eva ca vistāram'—and expansion from That alone. Like waves are many but water is one; like gold ornaments are diverse but gold is one. 'Brahma sampadyate'—attains Brahman. This vision is itself the attainment—not a means to something else.
How To Apply This:
Practice seeing the one in the many: the same life force animating all beings, the same consciousness looking through all eyes, the same existence in all existents. This vision transforms experience.
