mayy eva mana ādhatsva mayi buddhiṁ niveśaya nivasiṣyasi mayy eva ata ūrdhvaṁ na saṁśayaḥ
"Fix your mind on Me alone, place your intellect in Me; thereafter you shall dwell in Me alone. There is no doubt about this."
What This Means:
Krishna gives simple, direct instruction: Put your mind on Me, put your intelligence in Me. The result? You will live in Me forever. No doubt about it.
Going Deeper:
Two faculties are engaged: 'manaḥ' (mind—the emotional, thinking faculty) and 'buddhiḥ' (intellect—the discerning faculty). Both should be 'in Me'—absorbed in the Divine. 'Nivasiṣyasi' (you shall dwell) uses future tense with certainty. 'Na saṁśayaḥ' (no doubt) removes hesitation. This is the ideal path for those capable of constant remembrance.
How To Apply This:
Practice keeping God in your thoughts throughout the day. When walking, think 'I walk with You.' When eating, think 'I eat what You provide.' This constant remembrance transforms ordinary life into spiritual practice.
