Gita 10.15
स्वयमेवात्मनात्मानं वेत्थ त्वं पुरुषोत्तम।
भूतभावन भूतेश देवदेव जगत्पते।।
svayam evātmanātmānaṁ vettha tvaṁ puruṣottama bhūta-bhāvana bhūteśa deva-deva jagat-pate
"You alone know Yourself by Yourself, O Supreme Person, Creator and Lord of beings, God of gods, Lord of the universe."
What This Means:
Only Krishna knows Krishna fully—'by Yourself, through Yourself' (atmanatmanam). Others can know aspects, but complete self-knowledge belongs only to the One. He is creator, lord, god of gods, universe-master.
Going Deeper:
Self-knowledge at the ultimate level is unique. Finite minds can approach but not encompass the infinite. Yet this isn't discouraging—it means there's always more to discover.
How To Apply This:
Don't expect to 'figure out' the Divine completely. That's not failure—it's the nature of the relationship. Infinite depth means infinite exploration.
