"One should produce abundant food. That is the vow. Earth is food. Space is the eater of food. In earth, space is established. In space, earth is established. Thus food is established in food. One who knows this becomes established. One becomes possessed of food and an eater of food. One becomes great in offspring, cattle, spiritual radiance, and fame."
What This Means:
The final vow: produce abundant food. Earth and space support each other. Knowing this mutual support, one becomes established and prosperous.
Going Deeper:
The Upanishad concludes with the ethic of abundance. Create food generously. The universe is abundant; participate in that abundance.
How To Apply This:
Be productive and generous. Create abundance. The universe is not zero-sum; giving increases, not depletes.
