oṃ iti brahma | oṃ itīdaṃ sarvam | oṃ ityetadanukṛtirha sma vā apyo śrāvayetyāśrāvayanti | oṃ iti sāmāni gāyanti | oṃ śomiti śastrāṇi śaṃsanti | oṃ ityadhvaryuḥ pratigaraṃ pratigṛṇāti | oṃ iti brahmā prasauti | oṃ ityagnihotramanujānāti |

"OM is Brahman. OM is all this. OM is used to show assent - when one says "recite," they respond with OM. The Sama songs are sung with OM. The hymns are recited with "OM SOM." The Adhvaryu priest responds with OM. The Brahma priest gives permission with OM. One permits the fire sacrifice with OM."

What This Means:

OM pervades all Vedic rituals. It is the sound of Brahman, the sound of agreement, the beginning and response in all sacred actions.

Going Deeper:

OM is the sonic form of absolute reality. All ritual, all affirmation, all sacred communication begins and ends with OM.

How To Apply This:

Let OM be your foundation. Begin and end practices with OM. It connects you to the source of all.
