यस्तन्तुनाभ इव तन्तुभिः प्रधानजैः स्वभावतः। देव एकः स्वमावृणोति स नो दधातु ब्रह्माप्ययम्॥

yastantunābha iva tantubhiḥ pradhānajaiḥ svabhāvataḥ | deva ekaḥ svamāvṛṇoti sa no dadhātu brahmāpyayam ||

"The one God who, like a spider, covers Himself by His own nature with threads born of pradhana (primal matter) - may He grant us absorption into Brahman!"

What This Means:

Like a spider covering itself with threads from its own body, God covers Himself with material nature. May He grant us merger in Brahman!

Going Deeper:

The spider analogy shows creation as coming from within God (not from outside material). The verse prays for brahmapyaya (dissolution into Brahman).

How To Apply This:

Pray for liberation - merger into Brahman. Know that creation comes from within God, like a spider's web.
