"The sage said to them: "Stay with me for one more year, practicing austerity, celibacy, and faith. Then ask whatever questions you wish. If I know, I will tell you everything.""
What This Means:
The sage does not answer immediately. He asks them to prepare for a year through spiritual practices. Only a prepared mind can receive deep knowledge.
Going Deeper:
Tapas (austerity), brahmacharya (self-discipline), and shraddha (faith) purify the mind, making it receptive to truth.
How To Apply This:
Prepare yourself before seeking answers. Spiritual knowledge requires a purified and disciplined mind.
