"This subtle Self is to be known by the mind where the fivefold prana has entered. The mind of all beings is pervaded by prana. When it is purified, this Self becomes manifest."

What This Means:

The subtle Self is known through the mind where the five pranas dwell. All minds are filled with prana. When the mind is pure, the Self reveals itself.

Going Deeper:

The five pranas (prana, apana, vyana, udana, samana) are the vehicles through which Self expresses in the body-mind.

How To Apply This:

Purify the mind where prana dwells. The Self will become manifest.
