Maitri Upaniṣad 6.34

"Attached to sense objects, it leads to bondage; free from sense objects, to liberation."

What This Means:

When the mind is attached to objects, it is bound. When free from attachment, it is liberated.

Going Deeper:

The objects themselves are not the problem - it is the mind's attachment that creates bondage.

How To Apply This:

Practice enjoying life without clinging. Use things without being used by them.
