Paraphrase of Maitri Upaniṣad 6.3

"One should unite the Self with OM. This divinity is made of light."

What This Means:

The practice is to merge your sense of self with OM. This leads to the divine light.

Going Deeper:

OM meditation is a form of yoga (union) - the individual dissolves into the universal through the sound.

How To Apply This:

Practice chanting OM while feeling your individual identity merge with the infinite.
