मनः सह सर्वैः संकल्पैः प्राणम् अभिसमेति। स यदा प्रतिबुध्यते।

manaḥ saha sarvaiḥ saṃkalpaiḥ prāṇam abhisameti | sa yadā pratibudhyate |

"The mind with all thoughts enters Prana. When he awakens..."

What This Means:

Even the mind with all its thoughts dissolves into Prana in sleep, and emerges again upon waking.

Going Deeper:

The continuity of the Self through these states proves it is beyond all states - the witness of them all.

How To Apply This:

You exist before, during, and after thoughts - you are the awareness, not the thoughts.
