प्रतर्दनो ह वै दैवोदासिरिन्द्रस्य प्रियं धामोपजगाम।

pratardano ha vai daivodāsirindrasya priyaṃ dhāmopajagāma |

"Pratardana, son of Divodasa, through battle reached the beloved abode of Indra."

What This Means:

The warrior Pratardana, through his valor in battle, reached the realm of Indra, king of the gods.

Going Deeper:

This frames the teaching as a reward for heroism - showing that spiritual knowledge is the highest boon, surpassing all worldly gifts.

How To Apply This:

The ultimate gift is not power or pleasure but the knowledge of your true Self.
