""The Self is the sun dwelling in the sky, air dwelling in space, fire dwelling on the altar, guest dwelling in the house. It dwells in humans, in the gods, in truth, in space. It is born of water, earth, truth, and mountains - the great Truth.""
What This Means:
The one Self appears as sun, air, fire, and the guest. It dwells everywhere - in humans, gods, truth, space. It's the source of all.
Going Deeper:
Hamsa (swan/goose) is a symbol for the Self. This verse shows the Self's all-pervading nature in various forms.
How To Apply This:
See the same Self in the sun, in fire, in your guest, in yourself. It's all One.
